The tour started in 1995 as a showcase for skate punk (such as
Lagwagon, NOFX, No Use For A Name etc) and third wave ska (
Rancid, Less Than Jake, Mighty Bosstones etc), but later began to feature mostly post-hardcore
, pop punk and metalcore acts, and the current 2009 edition line-ups has evolved to offer diversity of genres (
3oh!3, Millionaires, Jeffree Star etc) which is kinda shitty and undermining the spirit of punkrock.
What the heck...capitalism rules...i still wish one day i could mosh in the sweaty pit
