It was a matter of time before i start blogging about the recent transfer transaction that was happening in the world of football. Usually at this period of time, many clubs are still inconsideration of which players could strengthen your current team, or in negotiating terms with either clubs or players it self. But BAAAAM! There goes the world record transfer fee! Real Madrid smashed it by a mile of £10 Million Pounds, which was also previously set by them in 2001 when they bought the legendary Zinedine Zidane, £46 Million Pounds.
With my calculation right, the new world record transfer fee goes to the latest signing of Real Madrid, £56 Million Pounds for Kaka' from AC. Milan. Ridiculous? Maybe not, i strongly believe its a great piece of business made by them, as much as i hate Real Madrid. Sigh, sometimes i wonder where they get their money from, but their spending is far from over. Just few days ago, a new report launch and shocked the whole football world.
Manchester United accepted £80 Million Pounds bid from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo.
To be honest, it wasn't very surprising when i read the headline. It was just a matter of when he will move and when the club will accept that ridiculous money. I have a lot of friends that supports Man United, therefore i have also receive many different opinions or views of this move. Seriously people, who wouldn't accept that kinda money, i don't believe that record will be EVER be broken if it goes through, or at least in my lifetime. There's no reason to panic, yes we may struggle a bit starting at the amount of goals he score per season. But i have no doubt the management will spend the money wisely and get a number of world class players back into the squad. Besides we have already a few young wonder kids in the team right now: Welbeck, Marcheda, Fabio & Rafael Da Silva, and a few others who look promising. I foresee the club bounce back much stronger from this great piece of business!
There are many names circulating in the market on who will Man United be signing., such as Karim Benzema(Lyon), Frank Ribery(Bayern Munich), Antonio Valencia(Wigan), Arjen Robben(Real Madrid) Only time will tell which one of this players will end up wearing the red devil shirts. The closest bet would be Antonio Valencia, but that was already given green light by the board even before the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo. If i were to predict which players will United be signing this season, it would be Frank Ribery, Antonio Valencia and Karim Benzema. But I would really hope somehow they end up signing Arjen Robben & Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid, that would really ease the pain of selling the World and Europe player of the year.
This will definitely not be the only post i will be writing regarding the transfer market, like i said its still early, i am very sure there will be other big names moving around besides Kaka' and Ronaldo.. Before i end this post, i would just like to thank and congratulate Ronaldo in advance for the wonderful 6 seasons in a devil shirt, he also won the Fifa world player of the year and Ballon d'Or. Amazing? yes thats the word, you will be missed. CR7 will always be part of every Red Devils fan heart.
