Before i move on to part 2 of my re-cap 2009 post, let me just share with you this amazing journey i went on last month :)
I love this island so much, not just because the beach is clean as hell, but also the people there are just plain friendly, honest, fun, and nice! I really enjoyed my time there, actually i am pretty sure 20 of us that went enjoyed it. But i gotta be honest, the food there is pretty expensive, can't complain much tho, you gotta eat =)

The whole journey started with me, baby and tim sitting the same flight to Langkawi and from there on we met up with Azrin and Gen. We hung out a bit, bought some duty free alcohols and head off to the jetty for our 2:30pm departure. It was only just me & baby for day 1, the rest of the crew will be joining us the next day and some even 2days later. The speedboat ride took about 1hour 10mins, and when we reached...This was what i saw!

How can something 1hour away from Langkawi look like this?!?! Right after we checked in the room, off we stripped to our swim pants & bikini. Took our fins & mask and started snorkeling away. We spend about an hour swimming until we found Castaway Resort/Dive center, apparently i have heard great reviews about them. So we booked the next day diving and end up canceling it because we found a cheaper and nearer dive site just opposite our chalet :D I think we made a good choice, because the guys from Satun Dive Centers are friendly, fun and kind peoples! I would say diving in Koh Lipe isn't as great as what i thought it would, but as long as nothing happens to me & baby, it is always a great fun dive :)

So after our fun experience here, we headed back to the chalet. I was so excited to get back because i knew my friends would have already reach by then! Indeed they were, all getting ready to jump in the beach to have some fun relaxed evening.
We spent the night having dinner at Varin Resort restaurant, RM45 for an hour 30minutes massage, 45minutes of lazing around the hammock, before crashing to bed as early as 10pm.
Day 2, my friends was suppose to reach Koh Lipe as early as 9am local time, but due to some engine problem of their speedboat the night before, they were told departure time would be at 2:30pm instead. So off we go for our 1st 2 dive!!

I managed to see a ghost pipe fish, but did not really take a good picture, but not to worry i saw it again the next day when we dived with Mary and Kenny :) Anyway, so after our 1st dive, the boatman caught 3 big fish while we were diving..So they bbq it for our lunch!? LoL yes just in the middle of other islands they made fire and 45mins later the fish tasted as fresh as it could get!

After dinner, we wasted no time and started drinking. We finished Chivas 18years in 30minutes just by playing poker and then went on to other fun drinking games. After couple of hours sitting down in a bar, we brought our bottles back to the chalet and just chill with the kick ass wind. Just lovely <3
Then came the New Years Eve day. It was a really long day for most of us, 11 people went snorkeling and 4 diving. I heard there weren't much things to see for the snorkelers, but i guess thats snorkeling, all about luck with what swim pass you :/ After the long day, we quickly washed up and had our dinner to celebrating the New Years Eve countdown. We brought 9bottles to Jungle Bar(FUCKING FAR, lol) It started off pretty boring and dull, but as long as people start drinking, the fun will start. So yes, we had a blast after the live band stopped, so just enjoy viewing some of the pictures.

We brought the party back to the chalet again, this time with a camp fire. A few girls including my baby jumped in the water middle of the night, with a mad wind blowing. Really nuts.
So yeah, we continued drinking the next day as well, some of them left earlier too.. But this has been a really successful trip, i still cant believe 20 of us crashed into an island! Not a Malaysian one, but somewhere that needs a passport. It's hard to even find 20 fellas to club these days, so i just wanna thank everyone who went and partied hard! It has been a really unforgettable year, i can't wait for another trip like this, and i hope baby will always be there with me :)
As for my new years resolution, i don't have one actually. Except maybe make loads loads of money and travel again, this time Australia & Europe :) I hope you guys enjoyed your New Years Eve celebration, because i am very sure 20 fellas did it with style ;)
