RI Robot Soccer Team , Champion in Robot Olympic


Indonesia won a glorious victory in the Align Centerfirst place winner and entitled to the gold medal for Robot Soccer category at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) held at the SMX Convention Center Hall, Manila, Philippines.

The team consists of students from elementary, junior high school and Robot Soccer team. "Of the 11 teams that we submit, Robot Soccer team that won the championship," said Paula from Mikrobot Experience Center.

World Robotic Olympiad which was held on November 6, 2010 is the international events held every year. Pelombaan is open to students from elementary to college students. This event is the culmination of a national competition event that has been followed previously by all the participants from each country.

WRO this year followed by 700 participants from 22 countries, while Indonesia to send 38 participants, divided into 11 teams to participate in Robot Soccer Regular Categories and Categories. Participants representing WRO Indonesia is the winner and some participants who took part of Indonesian Robotic Olympiad 2010, which was held at the BPPT Building in Jakarta on August 14, 2010.

This year marks the 7th held WRO. In the category of Robot Soccer, Team Indonesia must compete with 20 teams from other countries and can win first prize. Previously, the WRO 2009, Indonesia won 2, 3 and 5.
