His Royal Orangeness Carlos Guillermo and The Nashman are back in middle earth after an amazing time in mucho mucho caliente Andalucia. Ice cold cerveza never tasted so delicious with the temperature hovering in the mid-30s.
HRO Carlos Guillermo and loyal human consort The Nashman visited the cities of Granada, Cordoba, and that jewel of the Guadalquivir, Sevilla. As soon as HRO Carlos Guillermo entered the grand palaces, forts, barrios, bodegas, and plazas (the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, the Generalife, the Mezquita, the Catedral de Sevilla, the Reales Alcazares, Sta. Ana, the Juderia) HRO was mobbed by the adoring masses.
We met lots of interesting people but it was the Moorish heritage and architecture of Andalucia that made us weep with awe and joy. Coffee was served in the proper Arab way and was so reinvigorating after the short power siestas.
Best of all HRO Carlos Guillermo was there to support Team España win their first 2006 Copa del Mundo match.
HRO Carlos Guillermo will update the blog diary soon. There are lots of beautiful images to share and wonderful experiences to tell.
HRO Carlos Guillermo is now off to Nippon for a much delayed HRO Visit including an ascent up Mount Fuji, weather and time permitting.
Hasta la vista.
