6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon is a quiz game on the concept of small world phenomenon and rests on the assumption that each individual through his film roles to actor Kevin Bacon can be connected within six steps. The name of the game is a play on the "Six Degrees of Separation"concept. In 2007, Bacon started a charitable organization called SixDegrees.org.
Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon postulated that any film actor Kevin Bacon in six movies or less connected. The game is won when a player is an actor or actress thinks. The other player makes the connections back to Kevin Bacon. Simple, yes, but strangely compelling.
In view of movies, actors and actresses have in common, they can lead to Kevin Bacon. For example, Jack Nicholson was in "A Few Good Men" with Kevin Bacon. Michelle Pfeiffer was in "Wolf " (or "The Witches of Eastwick") with Jack Nicholson, who was in "A Few Good Men" with Kevin Bacon. And so on. Meanwhile, the number of films is that actors or actresses Bacon number or number of degrees.
