EPI Life, which was developed in Singapore will be immediately check your heart rate when you press the button on the receptor and sends the results to the health center 24 hours.
You can choose three packages offered EPI Life, depending on the level of your health. The three packages that offer 10, 30 and 100 tests in a month.
"We think this is a revolution. Clinically, this phone is very important," said EPI chief medical officer, Dr Chow U-Jin when introducing this phone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
"You can use this phone as a phone anywhere. But, you also can send the results of an electrocardiogram and get reply. If the results of the examination was normal, you will only receive an SMS," he said as reported by the Straits Times, Friday (02/18/2011).
If the results of worrying, the hospitals will immediately send an ambulance to your door.
The phone is priced USD700, and as many as 2,000 units have been marketed since 2010. Currently, EPI Life has also launched a mini version costing USD99 with a smaller receptor that is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. The phone version will soon be introduced in Spain and France.
