CALIFORNIA - Analyst Pyramid Research believes that the operating system Windows 7 Phone OS Android will hit in 2013. The reason?
"While we acknowledge the momentum experienced by Android that will continue to increase in 2011 and 2012. But we believe that Nokia and Microsoft are a very strong tandem, and will show in full force at the end of 2013," claims a senior analyst with Pyramid Stela Bokun.
"Some of the main constraints to growth in the current WP will be deleted, because it helps to drop the price of the Nokia smartphone WP is much cheaper. It's become an important prerequisite for the expansion model of WP. Nokia knows it and Microsoft knows it, and I'm sure they'll act quickly , "he said, as reported by TG Daily, Tuesday (10/05/2011).
According Bokun, a number of additional handset vendors like Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson will be another driver of growth of WP to beat Android.
He also added, with a change in the price of WP devices, and Microsoft strategic multivendor approach, the main advantage of Android will soon decrease
Android Bokun also projecting growth in 2013 will slow at least compared to the year 2011 and 2012.
"While WP will maintain leadership from 2013 until 2015, will be fierce battle with Android and will generate a lot overtakings and the relationship between the two operating systems that will come, but all will sacrifice IOS and BlackBerry, which will experience a successive defeat," he explained.
