WASHINGTON - President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama sure that Al Qaeda terrorist network leader Osama Bin Laden is dead. Bin Laden is confirmed to have died in a military operation.
"Through the U.S. military operation conducted in a region of Pakistan. We make sure that Osama Bin Laden has been killed," Obama said in his press conference, as quoted by CNN on Monday (02/05/2011).
"A small team was sent to a house suspected hiding place of Bin Laden. A gun battle ensued in the house," he continued.
Obama added that such operations have been held for a week. Bin Laden eventually death can be ascertained on Sunday evening local time.
