18th january 2011: honduras v. guatemala
Honduras is a team in better form then Guatemala judging by the results recently. In this UNCAF cup Honduras had drawn with Costarica 15.01. while Guatemala lost 0-2 16.01. Honduras also had a day more to resting prior to this match. Couple of Guatemala players had just recently recovered from injuries (Carlos Ruiz, Fredy Flores, Iboy Yony) so they lack competitive form. In H2H games Guatemala has more victories then Honduras but Honduras had won last 4 games , and in last two matches Guatemala hasn't scored at all. They played a friendly match in October and Honduras won 2-0. According to reports Guatemala will play with five stoppers but will need to go for a win because they need 3 points to pass the group. In my opinion Honduras will use that and should be able to pull off a win in the end.
