Along with the terms "Pinoy Blogosphere" (and people who use them. Duh, it's the internet, stop putting yourself in a box), anything that starts with e- or i- as in ePinoy, eBook, eBusiness, iTlog, eWan, eKlat, and Pinoy Probloggers, one of our pet peeves includes the pretentious twats who post their latest book acquisitions online as if we, the illiterate masses, give a shit.
Anong gusto nyong palabasin? Na marunong kayo magbasa? Na magaling kayong pumili ng libro? Hay naku, pa-lista nalang kayo sa mga ka-eklatan tulad nito. What? There is a crisis in this alternate universe called the Pinoy Blogosphere? Eh? For those not in the know, Pinoy bloggers take themselves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. Where else in the world is there an actual summit for bloggers? (iBlog yata tawag doon kung saan nagsasalo salo ang mga taong mahilig i-google ang sarili nila at magpapogi sa technorati.)
Aaanyways, today allow us to post some books chosen by us which we think you should have because your bookshelves are sorely lacking some high culture.
This last book, I highly recommend (especially to Lourdes who doesn't know how to cook rice without a rice cooker. Wala bang HELE sa elementary school mo? It's just science darling.)
