Nasu's Wedding

28th June 2009 = Nasu's Wedding day

The date & day we all been waiting for, 95% of my friends have never met his wife before. Most of the girls i knew were wondering what should they wear, because obviously we don't attend many Malay weddings, that includes my baby. My baby kept it safe and wore something that doesn't show much skin, lol!

They couple made their appearance at about 1:30PM, dressing in full purple, my handsome friend Nasu and his wife Khadijah. Anyway as usual, wedding dinner is all about the food and just chit-chat session. No dramas unfold during the event, because there weren't any alcohol, so we all left about the same 3.15PM. Here are some of the pictures that was taken that day, hopefully i can steal some from the real photographer on that day.

The Happy Couple

The Big Family

Once again, Congratulations Nasu. I am so happy for you, and may god bless the both of you. Happy humping =)!

Bottle Shock

I enjoyed Bottle Shock so much I went out and bought it so I could enjoy it for a second time. I really did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did.Watching the movie again I have to give credit to the actors, this is a movie that has a great cast supporting it and is a textbook example of how a good script turns into a highly enjoyable movie when given to a capable director and a

So long Ronnie!

It's official! Cristiano Ronaldo has join Real Madrid with a whopping fee £80 million! Once again thank you Ronnie for the amazing journey and shows you have displayed to us. Hopefully you dont do too well there, because i HATE Real Madrid, period. LoL, it's time for Sir Alex and the board of management to use that money and bring in big talents!!

Still on target in United's radar are = Karim Benzema, David Villa, Frank Ribery, Antonio Valencia

Get all 4 and it'll be a fantastic season to watch again :D

On another note............ Manchester United's new kit for 2009-2010 season is revealed !! All i gotta say is, if i buy this piece of shit. Please slap me. Exact words i told my baby, lol! Sorry United, i am your biggest fan, but when it comes to spending money, it automatically means it gotta be worth it or nice! Maybe this is the reason Cristiano left the club =P Hahaha! But thankfully this kit only last a season and there will be a new one for 2010-2012, with new sponsorship too! This will be AIG last appearance on the kit.

Van Der Sar must be cursing his nuts off after signing new contract.

Wtf is this.

-______- I thought players jersey were ugly.

Oh lord.

Ji-sung Park echoed those sentiments, adding: "It always feels great to put the kit on and there is always a great meaning behind our kits. History is very important at this club and it’s something all the players are aware of. "I really like the chevron feature – I like to think of it as ‘V’ for victory and hopefully we can win every game we play in the new kit."

Wayne Rooney says it's an honour to wear the shirt week in, week out and is looking forward to pulling on the latest design.
"It's always exciting to see the new kit," he told ManUtd.com. "It's important that we like itand get used to it before the season starts [on tour]. I'm really excited about playing in it."

V for victory, HAHA fucking dumbass comments i swear

He's Just Not That Into You AdsOriginally uploaded by drewsevolutionI just realized that Ken Kwapis harkens all the way back to my childhood; he directed one of my favorite movies as a child - Follow That Bird. That’s right he made the movie about Big Bird running away from home and being brought back to Sesame Street when he missed his friends. I know it’s dorky but that makes me love Ken Kwapis

Just few weeks back, i told my baby, it would be a live long dream to be able to participate in his final tour next coming 2months. Sigh.. I read the headlines this morning, thought i would still be dreaming, wish i was.

Just speechless.

Perhentian Island (Part 2)

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog!

As you know, there is a part 2 of this particular entry. Part 2 will be featuring the night, tokong laut, and shark point dive. It was also our last 3 dives before heading back to KL, just wish we could dive more and longer. Soon, soon... We're already planning our next trip, probably in Sipadan somewhere in October 2009.

Night Dive:
When Andy my instructor asked what advance course do we want to choose? We could pick 5, but Deep & Navigation is a compulsory course, so we left with 3 option. We ended up picking Wreck, Fish ID (so we could recognize and learn more about underwater lifes) Last but not least, we chose Night Dive. This was the dive i feared most, i wont lie. But something tells me if i don't do this, i might regret, so what the heck! Baby & i chose night dive as the last course. Why was i petrified? Well..since young i was always afraid of the dark, only recently (5-6 years ago i started sleeping with my main lights off) My computer monitor screen saver is still active up to date when i go to bed. That says it all...

So off we go, 7.30PM night dive. After briefing, pre-dive safety check, and boat ride. We finally reach around 8pm. Sky were dark, water was cold, and wind was blowing, that wasn't helping at all. My heart went BOOM BOOM BOOM, forcing a smile to my instructor and baby that i was fearless :P So, enjoy some of the pics. Pretty bad, because somehow the Sony T700 can't catch good shots at night, especially underwater..

It wasn't this bright, we were on underwater mode, so it became abit blue :D

Now, it was this DARK!

Barely 5mins after we reach the bottom, i saw a Blue spotted stingray

Hermit Crab

Ghost Crab, but it kept going back in the sand!

Swimmer Crab, not a nice pic :(

Reef Shrimp

Supposedly rare to see it on the sand

That's all worth seeing, but worth a million words if you experience it on your own someday. I totally enjoyed the dive, and it is my favourite dive out of 10! Andy my instructor said after your night dive, you will come out the water a more confident, experience and calm diver. Damn right! It boosted my confidence even more, and now diving is my new love :P

Tokong Laut:
One of the best dive site in Perhentian Island.

Why? That's because you can almost see any kind of unique fishes in here. From bamboo/leopard sharks, trigger fish, puffer/porcupine, turtle and amazingly a 3-legged one named Tri-Pod by the Perhentian people. It's leg got entangled with a boat, and apparently it broke and now he can't swim very far and fast. So this place is almost like his home, 8 out of 10 times people dive there, would see it. EXCEPT ME. OMFG!!! Fucking hate my luck. Speaking about luck, guess what? Our tokong laut dive was scheduled 9.30am > 10.30am, so after our dive, we left the site and headed to our shop. 3hours later, we got a text/call from a dive centre that a WHALE SHARK was spotted at TOKONG LAUT approximately 10.50am. My heart dropped after hearing that news, it's every divers dream to see a whale shark, some instructors i know dived 10-20years, and still never swam with one before. Sigh... really hate my luck.

Bamboo Shark (alot of them around, lying down)

OK? OK sign language :D

My dive log

That signals the end of my diving experience! A wonderful one indeed. We couldn't dive the last day because we needed 18hours of urm not rest, dont know the word lol.. before going in the airplane. We ended up drinking alcohol at night, then took loads of pictures with the Sea Horse dive masters & instructors.

Water & Weather looking perfect on the last day (It was like this the whole trip!)

That's the end of my Perhentian trip entry =) Said it before, and i'll say it again. My best trip so far, loved every minute of it. Baby & i will be trying to dive as many places as we can, because once she goes back to Amsterdam, baby wont be diving for at least a year plus. Do browse my blog once a while to check up what my new dates and places will be!

Perhentian Island

Hello all, yes as you can tell from my previous post. I am back from Pulau Perhentian, this time around, i came back with no sun burn nor burn lips, instead a certified diver! Not just Open Water(beginner) but Advance Adventure(means i could dive anywhere in the world) Don't think i have plans to go any further to rescue course or even further dive masters except maybe someday when i am out of hobby then yeah i might consider, lol.

Well, what can i say? I absolutely loved it! It felt weird having to think you can breathe underwater or be deep down 20-30meters for an hour not needing any oxygen. After all the excitement from my diving friends, and from the video we had to view during the course. We headed down to the shore with our heavy ass equipment and tank to do our first confine water training. At first it was so difficult, and after i took 4-5 breathes without panicking, i felt like those fishes swimming next to me. Felt so surreal, i am actually breathing underwater?! We continued to finish all our skills before heading to our first dive the next afternoon.

Tiga Ruang was the first dive site we went to, unfortunately we did not capture any pictures due to our noobness level, so baby and i decided to leave the camera back home and focus on our buoyancy instead haha :D We only brought the camera out at the fourth dive onwards, but we were so eager to test our "underwater casing" and this is what we took at the shore while snorkeling.. haha!

Sea Cucumber, weird texture feeling :P

Chilling with Andy, our instructor

Okay, off to our fourth dive at Batu Layar, it was indeed our Open water graduation dive! We had to get our compass navigation, and hovering right, thank goodness everything went well, and we passed with flying colors! It was also the first time i took the camera out, so we were shooting at everything and anything, lol, but our buoyancy weren't that good yet so we kinda struggled a bit while taking photos =P But that's not going to stop us from shooting, here are some of the shots from that dive, enjoy =)

Baby and Andy doing cesa (control emergency swimming ascent) If you ever run out of air, you gotta do this to get up.

Yellow tail Snappers

If i am not wrong, this is a group of Bat Fish

Baby & I celebrating underwater. HEHE!

Alright there aren't many nice fish shots in that dive, but it was just memorable knowing we finally finish our open water course! But i am super lazy to post dive by dive, so i will just randomly upload them. Trust me, this section will not disappoint you =) I will try my best to name the type of fish but if i get it wrong, my bad =P Enjoy the underwater marine life's!!

Yellow Tail Barracudas

I have a video of them up close. Shall post it up some day when i have the time

Our first underwater kiss =P KUSJE!

Our 7th dive was at Teluk Pauh, it was one of my most memorable one. I saw a lot of cool marine lifes, and guess what? I got most of them on camera! This dive was lead by one of the other instructor called Nafie. So happy to have dived twice with him, he knows where all the fish are hiding and where they usually be. This is his 8th year in Perhentian island, and he has seen the Whale Shark each damn year, so far none yet 2009, but i don't think he really cares anymore. LoL, anyway enjoy the pictures below!

Trigger Fish, this dude is scary! He attacks when he feels stress or disturbed!

JAWS! ! ! ! ! ! ! HaHa, it's just a Black tip Shark

NICE? HAHAHA Yes, i know! It's brilliant. I have viewed the pictures a million times now, and each time i go through them again, it gives me goosebumps. But that isn't all, i still have a lot of other pictures to share with you guys, but i think it's enough for this entry. I shall create a part 2 for this Perhentian entry, hopefully with videos if i am not too lazy. What can you expect in the part 2? Hmm let me see, my favourite dive of all, the Night dive! =) Eventho the pics are pretty bad (IT'S REALLY DARK and the camera somehow suck at night) But i will still post some good ones and my last few dives in the island =)

Til' then, good night people and if you are interested to dive in Perhentian. Do let me know, i will try to hook you up with my wonderful instructor. Cheer's all
