Warped Tour 2009

i'm talking about the annual Vans Warped Tour, now in its 15th installment. This year the 46-date roadshow began in June and ends in August.

The tour started in 1995 as a showcase for skate punk (such as Lagwagon, NOFX, No Use For A Name etc) and third wave ska (Rancid, Less Than Jake, Mighty Bosstones etc), but later began to feature mostly post-hardcore, pop punk and metalcore acts, and the current 2009 edition line-ups has evolved to offer diversity of genres (3oh!3, Millionaires, Jeffree Star etc) which is kinda shitty and undermining the spirit of punkrock.

What the heck...capitalism rules...i still wish one day i could mosh in the sweaty pit

Genting 25th July

What a weekend i had! Something unusual as well, it did not involve alcohol, and there were no friends with me too. Just me, my mom, my brother and my baby, decided to go up Genting for a day trip.

We left the house pretty late, at about 1pm, then we had our lunch in Gothong Jaya before heading up the hill. One thing that Genting never seems to ever stop pissing me off is their parking!! BZZ 10 out of 10 times i go there, i have trouble finding parking space! That being said, i thought my trip was already ruined, as it was already close to 3pm. In the end, we found a parking space and hurriedly ran to the theme park. All hell broke loose after that :D

My brother forced my mom into a few rides (Cyclone, Pirate Ship, Roller Coaster) She screamed like a mad woman, everyone below was looking at her. I even have a video of it, it may look fake, but trust me, it wasn't! HAHAHA, she screamed even louder when i stop filming, unfortunately there weren't enough battery to take the full ride, lol it would have won the funniest video award. Really happy my mom enjoyed the trip with us, she made it more fun by sitting those rides with us. She even squeezed my babie's hand so hard that it actually hurt during one of the roller coaster ride. We did not really sit many rides because it was hella pack in the theme park, wasn't surprise tho, it's school holiday season. After all the fun we had at the outdoor theme park, we went in to the indoor which is utterly boring except for the Ghost house & Ripleys believe it or not. But i chickened out lol =P

We left the hill at about 8pm, and then had our dinner in Gothong Jaya again. We bought so much fruits, and guess what? It finished in 3days. Real fruit monsters we have in the house.

Anyway, it was such a great weekend, i hope to go out with my family more often. Speaking of family trip, they are going to Phuket,Phi Phi island Thailand next weekend for 5days, so fucking jealous =( But but !! Baby and i are planning our next dive trip in Tioman this coming month, nothing is booked yet, but we will definitely be there. Til my next post! Take care and enjoy my pictures below, Cheers!

Oh my god, it's been a week plus since i last watch United play and i have not uploaded the damn pictures! I am so lazy to wait / resize them :( Besides..i took more videos than photos anyway, i will find some time to post it up some day. But not today =P

In case you don't know, my girlfriend has already started her internship in a company that deals with celebrity magazines. Other than getting free mags to read every week, she also do get free movie preview tickets, like yesterday! We watched "Ghost of girlfriends past" I thought it was going to be an average love-romantic movie, but hell no! It's really Good! Very very surprising indeed, i don't mind watching it on dvd again someday. My girlfriend will also be getting "The proposal" starring Ryan Reynolds & Sandra Bullock, wish i could go. But unfortunately it falls on Tuesday, and i have Badminton every Tuesday from 8-10. But i will be doing something a little bit different next week, i have decided to play badminton from 8-9, and then drive all the way to Sunway to play some futsal from 9-12. That sounds a bit insane, yes i know, but i have been doing it weekly on Sunday, 2.30-5pm (Badminton) and then head to Celebrity Fitness gym right after to do more cardio work. Something tells me, my body will be dead when i am at early 30's =P

Work has been great lately, i have been processing a lot of cases lately, eventho they are not that big, but as long as i continue to work hard, it will turn to alot =) So at the moment, i am liking my job pretty much and hopefully to improve on my execution every month to come. Before i end my lousy boring entry, i just wanna share with you guys a recent MUTV intervew in Seoul Korea, between Patrice Evra and Park Ji Sung. These two are best buddy, and its super funny/ weird/ amazing to see them together. They both do speak different languages too, you can search for many more of them from You Tube if you really like it =P Man..... I miss the United team, and i am so jealous that so many people get to meet them or got autographed, sigh..

It's been a while!

Hello.......!

I have been really lazy and tired lately to blog, in fact i don't even feel like writing anything right now. But it's 10AM, woke extra early today cause i crashed in before 1AM on a Friday night. I hope i am well fully rested for today, as it is MANCHESTER UNITED vs Malaysian XI Selection. I am super excited, its been a while since i last saw Man Utd in real life, next year would be my first when i see them in Old Trafford =P

I attended the training session yesterday evening as well, a whopping 40,000 fans showed up to greet and meet the players train! Every time a foreigner or a guy with Man Utd polo shirt walks out to the stadium, we assume it was one of the players. Hahaha, til they finally walked out, huge roar and cheer was heard all around the stadium! I almost lost my voice but shouting the players name, i was just so excited! Seeing Berbatov, Rooney, Ferdinand, Giggs and the rest.. Oh lord, my idols :D

I will post all the pictures in my next entry, including the training ones. Hopefully United don't stop running their socks off and continue to hammer the Malaysian team =P

PS: My baby & i are already starting to plan our next trip =) Sipadan will most likely be somewhere in October, now we are trying to fit something in August, once we find out! I will definitely blog my excitement here too, hehe. Diving!! My new hobby
