Victory over Fulham on Sunday took the Hammers off the bottom and helped breathe new life into their survival bid. It is, however, important that they build on that success if they are to steer a route to safety. Just three wins in their last 21 Premier League games tells its own story and that form must be improved sooner rather than later.Avram Grant can at least take heart from the fact that his players continue to give themselves a chance, with Blackpool the only side to have stopped the Hammers from scoring at Upton Park this season.
