How to have a decent conversation in a packed bar....

The music was loud, the place was packed with beautiful young thangs, and I've already had 4 lethal cocktails....

For the first time (pang bagong Karanasan ito hane, kaya makinig kayo mabuti), I'm sharing some tips on how to pull and score with that pretty girl you just met drinking alone.....

1. After the boring "Hi, what's a bar like you doing in a beautiful girl like this?" formalities, immediately raise the level of conversation to "I tell you an english word, tell me the Greek root". Philippines for example...Philip is from the Macedonian kings, "lover of horses". You want to do this EARLY in the conversation, making sure you are in the same IQ level, because who wants to be with a napintabs?? (napintas ngem tab-bed, pretty but dumb)

2. Unleash your knowledge of current events but don't talk too much politics. Talk about the diaspora....how the movement of people enhances the gene pool and how we should all be loving each other and exchanging bodily fluids...

There are nearly as many beautiful Greeks for the same number of Flipinoys around the world....

3. Unleash your sense of humour. Provoke her and tell her there are some words that have NO Greek roots!

.....interestingly, there are some words that have no Greek roots but if translated to the closest Greek word phonetically.........

....mmm, I like the sound of that.....It's Apo Flavier all over again! Let's D'oh et.

4. Be a gentleman, ask if she wants dessert.....

5. Assure her that you have full control of your faculties......that you are not a zombie and can perform gymnastics till the morning....

6. Then ask politely if she's ready to raise the conversation to a higher level of consciousness.....

7. And be a class act. Make sure you know here name BEFORE entering the gates of heavenly delights....so you know what to scream.

...and it's always tricky with citizens of the world. She has 4(!) names depending on what official document you look at. (Yes, I had to ask to see her papers again to make sure they are not from some Recto school in the Philippines.)
